The Famous Halloween Parade begins at 4:00pm on Euclid & Moreland Avenues in Little 5 Points!  Two main stages of music beginning at Noon and going til 11:00pm.

On Saturday, September 17th from 10pm-6pm we are planning a family fun day filled with workshops, demos, food, and fun for the entire community.

There will be workshops on creative writing, legal consultation, theatre performance, activism, African dance, and programming for kids…and so much more!  Programs offered by seasoned artists, creatives, and professionals from the Little 5 Points Community Center and our neighborhood.

Nothing short of 55 voluHD1nteers showed on up on one of Georgia’s hottest summer days on July 28, 2010 to beautify the Little 5 Points Community Center.  They were proudly sporting their Home Depot orange tees, organized to the hilt and energized beyond what seemed possible for 6:30 in the morning.  They worked many hours mulching, planting and organizing the front yard and two common areas in the Center.  They split up in several teams for their marching orders and worked well into the day.

Many thanks to Ty Hodges of Home Depot for his leadership in executing this exciting volunteer day.  The commitment to HD2excellence was truly evident in the care and quality of the team’s workmanship.  The Center was honored and proud to be the recipient of this fantastic day of community giving.

Joe Shifalo was the former Executive Director of the L5PCC and served for many years.  His community involvement has been an inspiration to many.
