The Seed and Feed Marching Abominals bring their music and fun to the 2012 Inman Park Festival. As they do with so many events, the “Abominables” march, perform, and entertain raising the level of fun where ever they go. We are proud of the the Seed and Feed as part of the Little 5 Points Community Center family.

A wonderful school comes to Ponce De Leon….

Montessori In Town is proud to be the first AMI-accredited Montessori school to serve Atlanta’s unique intown community. Founded in 2005, our school’s mission is to offer the finest of educational experiences and maintain the high ideals of Dr. Montessori’s standards while serving the vibrant, diverse intown population. Students are fostered to develop emotionally, socially, physically and academically in a respectful atmosphere where differences are celebrated and respect is a cornerstone of our everyday work.

The school offers both Primary (ages 2 ½ to 6+) and Elementary (ages 6 to 9+) programs for children. The Little 5 Points Business Association is geared up for great things this year! We just voted in our new slate of officers: Bob Sandage, President; Holly Blain, Vice-President; Scott Pendergrast, Treasurer; Imani Evans, Secretary. Whoohoo!! We have more and more business joining all the time. The meetings allow L5P business owners to share information and resources. It is a wonderful opportunity to network and get your business out there. Non-profits are also welcome…as a matter of fact the Little 5 Points Community Center is a proud member. The Moreland Elementary Alumni Reunion was a hit!

On August 6th there was a historical and monumental event for the Center. We had more than 60 Moreland Elementary kids return to school for a reunion and open house. It was a packed house and we all had a blast. We gave tours, ate goodies, and attendees caught up with old friends while making a few new ones. Alumnus, Carol Moody, partnered with the Center’s Executive Director, Imani Evans to make this day a success. We are already planning to do it again. What a fantastic day!
